Willowmere

This full main floor renovation completely transformed the home from dated to warm, bright, and functional for modern family living. The project began with a demolition of the main floor removing the original red tile flooring, maple cabinetry, and dark countertops to create a fresh foundation for the new design.

A custom kitchen now anchors the space, featuring warm white cabinetry paired with natural wood accents and new white oak engineered hardwood floors that run throughout the main level. The updated layout improves both flow and functionality, while new brushed gold lighting and plumbing fixtures add warmth and subtle contrast.

In the dining area, built-in cabinetry provides additional storage while creating a cohesive architectural feature. The living room fireplace was redesigned with custom built-ins either side, a clean tile and trim surround, a floating wood mantel, and a new insert, creating a simple but inviting focal point.

The laundry room was refreshed by painting the existing cabinetry in a soft sage green and adding new hardware and countertops. A built-in mudroom bench with wall hooks creates a hardworking yet beautiful family drop zone. The powder room vanity was also updated with a soft white finish to complement the overall palette and tie into the warm materials used throughout the main floor.

To complete the transformation, new carpet was installed on the stairs and upper level, and the entire interior was repainted—including stair railings and trim—to unify the home’s updated look. A freshly painted black front door adds a striking finishing touch and enhances the home’s curb appeal.
